Grave hunting
Tombstones can provide useful information. The date of an ancestor’s death and age engraved on the stone help verify other data. Names of other persons in the same grave help verify family relationships and loved ones.
Visiting graveyards and uncovering old tombstones is fun and gives me a feeling of being closer to my ancestors.
